Congratulations to the HCC Cross Country team! This year at Zones we saw many personal bests! Congratulations to the following students who qualified for provincials: Kieran Donais (6th place, senior boys) Corson Burns (12th place, junior boys) Jayce Beekman (14th place, Intermediate boys) Charly Ward (14th place, Intermediate girls) Unfortunately, this year, only the top 10 will be able to attend provincials this year due to Covid regulations. As of now, we are excited to be sending Kieran Donais to provincials on October 16th. There is no doubt that he will make HCC and the South Central zone proud! High School Cross Country team members Emily Guenette, Joe Intic, Bradey Fargey, and Jagr Sorenson all saw personal bests on the course. The Junior High Cross Country team also did terrific. Special mention goes to Tate Hanson who came in sixth place overall. Paityn Noll and Abbey Everett both had personal bests this year as well. We are so incredibly proud of all of our athletes this year. They braved a cold day and showed up with personal bests and great sportsmanship. It wasn’t just the green shirts that made HCC stand out this year! Well done!
